About Singer-Songwriter Sofia Nunzia
- Sofia Nunzia is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter and future "singer-scientist" who is not only a singer but also plays the guitar, piano, and drums. She wrote her first original song when she was eight and has not stopped writing or singing since.
- Sofia lived in the Raleigh area of North Carolina for most of her life before relocating to New England, where she attended an international boarding school in Connecticut. She is currently a student at Coastal Carolina University, located in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina.
- Sofia's unique music style is influenced by 1990s country music, Motown, and pop. Sofia has been compared to Carole King, Adele, Stevie Nicks, and LeAnn Rimes. She previously received songwriting mentoring and music instruction from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, and Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
- In 2021, at age 14, Sofia released her debut single, Do or Die. Her first EP, "Lily", produced at the acclaimed Recording Den, was released in 2025.
